1. Who this policy applies to
This Privacy Policy applies to LinkVy, the LinkVy website at linkvy.xyz, creator profile pages, account and dashboard features, payment and subscription flows, lead forms, analytics, and related services. “LinkVy”, “we”, “us”, or “our” means the LinkVy service operated from India. This policy applies to visitors, registered users, creators, customers, and people who interact with a LinkVy profile.
2. Information we process
We process information in different ways depending on how you use LinkVy. This may include:
- Account information: name, username, email address, plan, account status, authentication and password-reset information.
- Profile information: profile name, biography, profile photo, social links, buttons, themes, text styles, products, payment options, booking details, media, and any other content you choose to publish or save.
- Creator and visitor interactions: link clicks, basic counters, timestamps, lead-form submissions, and information that a visitor voluntarily sends to a creator. Lead submissions may be stored in the creator’s LinkVy account and may also be sent by email notification to that creator.
- Payments and plans: plan, order, subscription, invoice, payment status, and transaction reference information. Payment gateways may process payment details directly. LinkVy does not intentionally store full card numbers or banking passwords.
- Technical and security information: session identifiers, browser or device information, request logs, and information reasonably needed to prevent abuse, investigate security incidents, and keep the service working.
3. Public profile information
Anything you deliberately place on a public LinkVy profile—such as your name, bio, image, social links, product information, public contact details, UPI ID, payment address, or other profile content—may be visible to the public. LinkVy can access that public content because it is required to host, display, moderate, troubleshoot, and protect the service. Do not publish information that you do not want to be public.
4. What we do not do
We do not sell your personal data, rent it to advertisers, or make private account data publicly searchable. We do not intentionally read private account content for advertising or profiling. LinkVy staff may access limited account information when reasonably necessary for support, security, fraud prevention, service operation, or legal compliance. We cannot promise that data is never stored: account records, profile content, lead records, payment metadata, security logs, backups, and session files may be stored or processed to operate the service.
5. Why we use information
- To create and maintain accounts and public profile pages.
- To provide features such as links, products, bookings, payments, lead capture, analytics, themes, backups, and status-sharing tools.
- To authenticate users, reset passwords, send service notifications, and respond to support requests.
- To process plans and payments through the relevant payment provider.
- To measure basic service usage, improve reliability, prevent abuse, and protect users and LinkVy.
- To comply with applicable law, respond to valid legal process, and enforce our Terms and policies.
6. When information may be shared
We may share the minimum information reasonably needed with hosting, database, email, payment, security, storage, and other service providers that help us operate LinkVy. Those providers may process information in countries outside India. We do not disclose non-public account information to the general public, advertisers, or other users.
We may disclose information to a government authority, law-enforcement agency, court, regulator, or other authorised public body when required by valid law, legal process, court order, or an urgent request relating to safety, fraud, security, or protection of rights. Such information is not disclosed to the public merely because someone asks for it. Where legally permitted, we will try to provide notice to the affected user.
7. Retention and deletion
We keep information for as long as it is needed to provide the service, maintain an account, complete a transaction, resolve disputes, protect security, comply with legal obligations, or maintain limited backups and records. You may request correction or deletion of account information through the LinkVy support channel. Deletion may not be immediate where information is present in backups, fraud-prevention records, payment records, or where retention is required by law. A creator may also retain lead information received through their profile.
8. Your rights (Data Principal rights under DPDP)
If you are located in India, the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) applies to your personal data, and you are a "Data Principal" while LinkVy acts as "Data Fiduciary". Depending on where you live and which law applies, you may have rights to:
- Access: a summary of the personal data we process about you and the processing activities.
- Correction and updating: ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete personal data.
- Erasure: ask us to delete personal data that is no longer necessary for the purpose it was collected, subject to legal retention requirements.
- Grievance redressal: raise a complaint about how your personal data is processed and receive a response within a reasonable time.
- Withdraw consent: withdraw consent for processing that is based on consent, at any time, without affecting processing already carried out.
- Nominate: nominate another individual to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event of death or incapacity.
You may also update profile content directly from your dashboard and stop making information public by removing it from your profile. To exercise any of these rights, email support@linkvy.xyz with your account username and the specific request. We may ask for reasonable verification before changing or disclosing account information. We aim to acknowledge such requests within 24 hours and resolve them within 15 working days.
9. Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP)
For users in India, LinkVy processes personal data in accordance with the DPDP Act, 2023. We rely on your consent, or another lawful basis permitted under the DPDP Act (such as a legitimate use necessary to provide a service you have requested), before processing your personal data. Consent notices are presented in clear language and, where relevant, offered in both Hindi and English, and can be withdrawn at any time as described in Section 8.
We take reasonable security safeguards to prevent personal data breaches as described in Section 10. In the event of a personal data breach that is likely to affect you, we will notify the Data Protection Board of India and affected users as required under the DPDP Act and its rules. Our designated Grievance Officer for privacy and data-protection matters is listed on our Company Info page.
10. Children
LinkVy is not designed to knowingly collect personal data from children without the consent of a parent or lawful guardian and the safeguards required by applicable law, including the DPDP Act's provisions on children's data. We do not knowingly enable tracking, behavioural monitoring, or targeted advertising directed at children. If you believe a child has provided personal data improperly, contact us so we can review, verify, and take appropriate action, including deletion.
11. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, access controls, protected sessions, and operational practices intended to reduce the risk of unauthorised access, loss, misuse, or disclosure. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. Please use a strong password, keep it confidential, and report suspicious activity promptly to support@linkvy.xyz.
12. International users
LinkVy is operated from Panipat, Haryana, India, but users may access it from other countries. If you use LinkVy from outside India, your information may be processed in India or in another country where our service providers operate. We aim to provide the rights and transparency required by applicable local law, but this policy does not claim that one legal framework automatically applies to every person or jurisdiction.
13. Cookies and similar technologies
LinkVy may use strictly necessary cookies or browser storage for login sessions, language preferences, security, and core functionality. Third-party content or payment and media providers may use their own technologies under their own policies. For more detail, see our Cookie Policy.
14. Grievance Officer and changes
We may update this Privacy Policy when the service, law, or data practices change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new date. For privacy questions, DPDP rights requests, or complaints, contact our Grievance Officer at support@linkvy.xyz — full details on our Company Info page. Our existing Contact page remains available for general enquiries.
